Euromix is a leading Ukrainian distribution company specializing in bringing FMCG and non-food brands to market, as well as providing logistics and customer service solutions. With an extensive network of warehouses across the country and decades of industry experience, Euromix provides producers with rapid market access and guarantees reliable product delivery to retail outlets.
Summary
As a technical support partner, the Senseti team proactively alerted Euromix to the risks of overloading their existing data center. We delivered a comprehensive report identifying bottlenecks and proposed a strategic plan to scale up the server and data storage infrastructure, preventing downtime and data loss.
As part of the project, we expanded the HPE-based server infrastructure, increased HPE Alletra storage capacity, and upgraded the backup architecture powered by Veeam — refining logic, optimizing performance, and redistributing resources. The VMware cluster was scaled to ensure high availability, and the FortiGate security cluster was also extended.
As a result, Euromix significantly increased the resilience of its IT systems, secured critical data, and ensured full readiness for further scaling — all without disruptions or interruptions to business operations.
We expanded — and didn’t go down. Thanks to Senseti. Their professional team alerts us to risks in advance, eliminates failures, and helps us maintain smooth business operations. We’re grateful for their reliability, expertise, and dedication to our needs.

Due to the rapid growth of Euromix’s operations, the company faced the need to scale its computing capacity and data storage systems. The potential for expansion had been anticipated in earlier projects, and the Senseti team — providing ongoing technical support — proactively identified early signs of system overload.
The following risks were identified:
- A sharp increase in data volume had begun to exceed the capacity of the existing storage system (SAN), causing service disruptions.
- Frequent failures occurred in the backup systems.
- The absence of a perimeter protection cluster created a critical vulnerability if any single security node failed.
Following a detailed report on the current state of the infrastructure, the new objective was clear: to conduct a thorough analysis of loads and system requirements, select the appropriate hardware, and design an architecture that would ensure reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance — all without disrupting ongoing business operations.
Solution and Business Value
Our team performed a detailed analysis of the current infrastructure and system load, then implemented a comprehensive project to expand Euromix’s data center — with a focus on high availability, scalability, and security.
Key steps included:
- Auditing all systems and analyzing server and storage utilization;
- Developing a phased plan for infrastructure expansion and modernization;
- Integrating additional HPE servers and HPE Alletra storage systems;
- Upgrading the Veeam-based backup system to match current business needs;
- Deploying a FortiGate-based security cluster for perimeter protection;
- Performing fault tolerance tests to validate server failover and migration.
Business value delivered:
- Significant increase in the resilience of mission-critical systems;
- Seamless business continuity, even in the event of hardware failures;
- Expanded storage and backup capacity to support future data growth;
- Enhanced cybersecurity and business process continuity;
- Centralized infrastructure management and support provided by Senseti.
How the Solution Was Implemented
The project was executed in carefully planned phases, taking into account the current infrastructure load and ensuring uninterrupted business operations throughout:
Phase 1: Consultation and Needs Assessment
As part of the ongoing technical support partnership, we consulted with the client regarding projected business growth and current infrastructure constraints. We assessed the system load, identified bottlenecks, and mapped out the company’s needs for the next 2–3 years.
Phase 2: Architecture Design and Expansion Planning
We developed a new high-availability data center architecture with load balancing capabilities. Integration points were identified for new servers, storage systems, and security components.
Phase 3: Hardware Integration and System Optimization
Additional HPE Alletra servers and storage systems were integrated via Aruba switches. The Veeam backup system was reconfigured for centralized management and scalable data recovery.
Phase 4: High Availability and Security Enablement
A FortiGate security cluster was deployed — ensuring the network perimeter remained protected even if a device failed. Testing was conducted to simulate server outages and validate the automatic migration of virtual machines.
Phase 5: Deployment and Support
The system was deployed with zero downtime. Monitoring, documentation, and ongoing support were configured and provided by the Senseti Group.
